Chicken Cordon Bleu

Lately I started cooking a lot. As I stopped babysitting, I have more time now for stuff like that. And honestly I like it. We got this book "Taste of Home." The recipes in it very good. Some of them are hard, and some of them easy.

Tonight I made "Chicken Cordon Bleu." It's pretty easy. Here is the recipe:
8 boneless skinless chicken breast haves (8 ounces each)
8 thin slices deli ham
8slices Swiss cheese
2 eggs
1 cup milk
2 cups crushed cornflakes
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Flatten the chicken to 1/4-in. thickness. Top each with a slice of ham and cheese. Roll up and tuck in ends; secure with toothpicks.
In a small bowl, whisk eggs and milk. In another bowl, combine cornflakes and seasonings. Dip chicken in egg mixure, then roll in crumbs.
Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes or until the chicken juices clear. Discard toothpicks before serving. Yield: 8 servings.
