On Sunday we went to St. John's Church to see the historical reenactment of the Patrick Henry's famous speech "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death!"

I really enjoyed to be there. I read books about the Revolutionary War and stuff, but to hear the speech, it was something.

What a great day. I loved studying about American History in school. Beautiful church..
That's probably the reason that I enjoy getting into the American Girl historic dolls with my granddaughters and going to American Girl Place in NYC each January.
That looks like a lot of fun. I have always wanted to look at some of those historic sites, but have never been in the east - or that far east, anyway!
