Snow in March

March 1st is officially first day of the Spring in the Ukraine, but here we have snow 9-10''. Here are some pics.

Our house is cover with snow.

You can see our lake.

It was very bright, because of snow. I guess you need sunglasses in the winter too.

My Dad meassured the snow on the table, and it was about 9".

It was first Dessies snow.

You can see that Galyna and Christian really need sunglasses.
We played a lot in the snow today, and we had a great time. It's prabably our first and last snow, at least for a while.

You guys have fun. I am in North Carolina and we were very surprised. This has never happened before in my life that I can remember this late in the year. This should be good for at least two days off from school, right?

My Russian friend who lives in Atlanta posted snow pictures yesterday, too! How nice to have the chance to play in the snow; do you miss it since leaving Ukraine? We love winter, but I must confess that I'm starting to look forward to spring... I'm SICK of the dirty slush all over the road...

What beautiful pictures. I love your house and location. Being on a lake is great. The puppy is so darn cute. I bet you all are giving her lots of attention and love.

We had 10" of snow on Monday, schools closed and everything. Maya had lots of fun in the snow. When I was a kid we lived close to the theater of Opereta (in Russian)in Otrada. There were some ramps around the theater and my father used to take me sledding there. I don't know if you are familiar with that area. There is a statue og a dolphin with a girl on his back? Anyway, that's my snow memories.

What pretty photos! I smiled a lot to see your little dog in the snow. How cute!

And you do have the most beautiful house and yard - the lake is gorgeous!
