Grisha

Many of know the face of Grisha from Ashley's blog.
I've know Grisha for a long time.   I met him when he came to the orphanage, probably six years ago.  He's a cute kid and very talented kid too. Grisha was one of the first younger kids who started to cross-stitch and he did very well. You may think that it's funny, but we had more boys then girls usually in the art room.
I'm sure he is very happy that soon he will have the real family who loves him. I know that feeling because I felt the same way almost two years ago now. I can't believe how fast time is flying.
We started to follow Ashley's blog two years ago and it's just amazing to see how God is working everything out. Sometimes we even thought that she wouldn't be able to make it, but we were wrong.
I want to wish Ashley and JC all God's blessings as they prepare to leave.

We are so happy for Grisha and can't wait to meet him and his family. We'll be there at the same time as Ashley and JC--we praise God that we can share this time together.

Thank you for mentioning us on your blog, too. We really appreciate your prayers and are glad you'll be following our journey. It's special for me that you will be part of this with us. :-)

What a Blessing it is to have a family that loves you. I'm so glad it was made possible for you guys. Such a sweet boy, I hope he comes home soon.

I love that photo of Grisha. It is so cool to think of all you kids from the same place! My son Ilya loves to do needlepoint. I hope he does not stop because in this country it is not something guys usually do. :( He is a very talented artist, too.
