Defiance

Last night we watched the movie "Defiance." This movie is about four Jewish brothers who saved a lot of lives.

It was during the war when German Nazis were killing Jews. The Bielski partisans, as the brothers called themselves, were an organization of Jews who rescued a lot of Jews and fought against Nazi. If you heard or read anything about the Jews you would know that Jews were the victims, but not these ones. This story is important, because this is the story about the Jews who fought for their lives.

I'm really thankful to those people because I have Jewish blood in me, because my grandfather was a Jew. I have Jewish name Abramovich, so if I would live in that time Nazis would come after me too.

 So thanks God for Bielski brothers.
